Central Florida Elite - Non-Profit Organization

Central Florida Elite (CFE) Girls Traveling Basketball Club is a highly competitive girls basketball organization consisting of girls from the Central Florida area and other cities throughout Florida. CFE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.

Our first team was formed in 2009 as a 14U squad under the Orlando Comets organization. Finishing the 2009 travel season as ninth in the nation the girls wanted to continue what they started and remain as a group. In 2010 as 15U, the girls worked really hard to achieve a record of 43 - 4 including a remarkable run of 13 - 0 over seven days winning the Sophomore Showcase and the 2010 15U AAU National Championship. In November 2010 with the same personnel, we became Central Florida Elite.

Continuing our goal of developing our girls into the best basketball players and people they can be while teaching them the fundamentals of the game, the success that comes from hard work and preparing them for the next level. We will always work hard, train hard and play hard.

 

In September of 2012 CFE became one of only 24 programs in the nation to be officially sponsored by Nike. Being a part of the Nike Girls Elite Youth (GEY) Program gives our program the ability to compete against the best teams/players in the nation at the best tournaments in the nation.

 

In 2014 Nike expanded their sponsorship program to 32 teams. CFE finished as a top 10 team in the country in the inaugural season of Nike Girls EYBL with a regular season record of 7-3.  2 of those losses were in Overtime to eventual Gold Bracket finalists.  CFE EYBL 2015 completed the season with an overall record of 11-6 and were recognized as a Final Four team in the Nike Nationals Silver Bracket.

 

 

In 2019 Central Florida Elite ended their sponsorship with Nike Girls EYBL.  This was just before the National Pandemic and many teams were effected gravely.  In the Fall of 2020 CFE attained a new sponsorship Partner Adidas and the 3 Strip Select Basketball League.  

 

In just our first year in the Adidas 3SSB 17U Championships CFE Grant Hill 2022 made it to the Elite 8.
